I have jaws 12 and would like the enter and some other keys to stop speaking. I have tried the bit with getting into key labels labels and muting them, but when I get out of the key labels after hitting apply and okay the keys still speak. Any other application I need to get into to stop these keys from speaking? Any help is appreciated.

are you sure you're modifying the default configuration file? Once you get in to config manager, press control shift D. this should bring up the default file, unless things are drastically different between versions 10 and 12. Hope this helps.

I just did the keystroke Anthony mentioned and it works in the new Settings Center just as it did in Configuration manager.

Thanks. I wasn't getting into the default and that's why it didn't work. Thanks again.
